Spring 2024

D&P Music and CALATHEA Trio had an exhilarating experience during their inaugural international tour in Belgium this year. Performing at stages such as the prestigious Pulcheria Leuven and the elegant French Salons in Antwerp, they created a captivating atmosphere for everyone attending. They elevated the audience's entire experience to new heights, leaving an indelible mark and inspiring a profound appreciation for their artistry.

FEAtured

Dessy is a Bulgarian-born freelance flutist living in London dividing her time between performing, teaching, and workshops.
As a performer, Dessy is a founding member of D&P Music formation where she performs with the cellist Szymon Pawlas and various guest artists.


Dessy is an international artist and has collaborated with soloists and conductors worldwide. As a member of symphonic and opera orchestras, she has performed at stages such as the Mozarteum Salzburg, Austria, and has participated in prestigious festivals such as Solothurn Classics, Switzerland, and Cremona International Music Academy and Festival, Italy. Currently, Dessy is a principal flute at the Retrophonica Chamber Orchestra and the Pavilion Ensemble in London, United Kingdom.

 

Alongside performing, Dessy is passionate about teaching, and enthusiastic to help any age and level. Currently, she is involved with organisations such as the London Music Center and Every Child a Musician in London, United Kingdom.
